Dr. Jason Holtman grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his twin brother and older sister. He spent his teenage years traveling around the country playing ice hockey and focusing on academics. He achieved his dream of attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
Following dental school, Dr. Holtman pursued advanced training through a General Practice Residency at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. This residency training provided him with the opportunity to treat patients with complex medical issues, including patients with developmental delays and those with severe dental anxiety. In addition, he obtained advanced training in oral and IV sedation, oral surgery procedures, pediatric dentistry, implant dentistry, and root canal therapies.Dr. Holtman continually pushes himself to learn and grow as a provider and individual. He enjoys creating an atmosphere of trust and compassion for his patients by taking the time to develop an understanding of their backgrounds and previous dental experiences. He enjoys establishing a genuine connection with his patients, because he believes patients want to be heard, advocated for, and understood by their healthcare professionals. Overall, he strives to empower his patients to make informed decisions about their oral health.Dr. Holtman moved to Bend with his fiance, Anna, who is a dental hygienist. They love spending time traveling to different countries and around the United States. They also enjoy going on adventures with their black lab puppy, Mango. In his free time, Dr. Holtman enjoys spending time outdoors, playing ice hockey, skiing, backpacking, reading, and hiking.
